RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

If something isn’t right, or you change your mind, we are happy to accept a return subject to our policy.

GENERAL

1. Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase date.

2. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the product.

3. A 10% restocking fee is applied to returns or exchanges to cover the cost of original shipment and then receiving and restocking the items back to inventory.  Original shipping cost is not refunded.

4. Upon receipt and inspection of the product, we reserve the right to either refuse the return or charge a higher restocking fee if product or packaging is damaged or marked impacting the ability to resell it.  Product must be in resellable condition.

CHANGE OF MIND

If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us, we will refund you using the original payment method once we have received the returned item back in accordance to 1-4 above. 

WRONG COMBINATIONS

If a product is simply on the wrong combination upon inspection, we will set the lock back to the factory default and send back to you at no charge if the item is less than 30 days old and we are able to reset that combination with our machine (most locks can be reset but not all).  If our machine can reset the lock and a return or exchange is desired (vs returned reset product), a $.50 reset fee will be applied.  Please note that we will provide a factory contact for you if you are locked out of your Sesamee, Prestolock or Search Alert products. 

FAULTY

If product is defective within one year of purchase, we will inspect and replace item if required. Customer is responsible for shipping  product back to our warehouse. Upon receiving and inspecting product, we will determine the nature of the return and if it is simply the wrong combination, "Wrong Combination" paragraph above applies. In the case of replacements or repairs - we will cover the shipping back to the customer.

If your product is a Sesamee, Prestolock or Search Alert, we will provide you with the factory contact for limited lifetime warranty.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS 

All returns are handled through the site and associated with the original purchase.  We do not accept phone or email return requests and those requests will be forwarded to this page.

On Account- To return products and request an RGA tag for return you will want to log into your account with your email address and password here.

Guest Order- If you ordered on our site as a guest, follow the below instructions to request a return:

  1. Click here to enter the email address you used for the order.  For security purposes, an email is then sent to that address so that you can create a password.
  2. Within a couple minutes, check your email for a link that will allow you to create a password.  Once the password is created you are then prompted to log in.

SUBMIT RETURN REQUEST

  1. Once logged in, go to Completed Orders and then click on Return Item(s) next to the item being returned.
  2. Fill out the following items on the return request:
  3. Click Submit Return Request
    • Quantity to return
    • Return reason
    • Return action optional
    • Comments optional

 

UPON RETURN APPROVAL

If a return is approved based on above criteria and purchase is less than 30 days old:

  1. You will automatically receive an approval email when it is approved in our system.
  2. We will then return an email to you with instructions for returning the product to us and an RGA #
  3. Processing. Once we receive the package and confirm that it meets our return policy, we’ll process your refund and an email will automatically generate from the system to let you know. The refund will appear in your bank account in about 3-8 business days after you hear from us. If there are any issues or your return doesn't meet our policy, we’ll contact you and send your parcel back to you. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
