I have had my Hitch Safe for about 6 months and knock on wood, haven't had to use it yet. I keep some money, a credit card, and a spare key in it. I have checked it and it seems to be water resistant, has fairly large numbers on the combination rollers and is pretty easy to read without getting on your hands and knees to open it. It was also easy to install without tools and since it has different thicknesses of foam grommets, it doesn't rattle in the hitch.
It puts me at ease knowing that I have no worries about being locked out of my truck, having cash if I need it and a credit card at my disposal if necessary.

Good product- Rather than having only a plain dust cover, have you considered offering covers imprinted with NFL,NBA and MLB team logos or State flags, or something of that nature? (Posted on 6/1/10)

Love the hitch safe, has "saved my bacon" numerous times from a call to Pop-A-Lock. Also thought you'd be interested to hear a story on the durability/strenght of the product. Couple of weeks ago, I was rear-ended by someone. They weren't going fast but a pretty good pop. Did minor damage to my bumper, but the brunt of the impact was borne by the HitchSafe.
Other than dinging up the cover (I'm going to order another), the HitchSafe itself was completely unscathed. It probably also saved me from more extenstive bumper damage. Pretty impressive (Posted on 11/11/09)

I’ve sold quite a number of HitchSafes by showing them to friends. Everyone has asked where you get them as soon as they see one of them in our cars. So many people run around in SUVs and pickups that never utilize the hitch receivers. You came up with a great idea. (Posted on 7/13/09)

I just purchased, installed and using your HitchSafe. I would like to say that "this is an outstanding product." The quality and the design of the HitchSafe were quite surprising. I asked my sister for one of these hitch safes for my birthday in March. I found that it's the next best thing since sliced bread, everyone that sees it thinks it's fantastic. I love this product. I am always hiking or running and I love having a place to store my keys!!! Now I don't have to carry them with me and worry about where to store them. I can leave them with the car and know that they will be there when I am done!
